  1. Ken says:

How do I delete or change and enrty for Glucose. I entered an incorrect number and now my chart is screwed up.

  2. healthyu says:

To delete a blood glucose value that you previously entered, simply visit that date/time that you wish to change/delete and either enter a new value or delete the entry. You must press save to make the change. In the upcoming upgrade, there will be a lock and key feature where removing an entry will require you to simply press the locked button to unlock/erase the value.

    Thanks for your question Ken.

  3. Jude says:

Both the icon badge and the MyDay front page show an enormous number of carbs that I supposedly have left – in the 90’s – even though I’ve entered only a few carbs for the day. I have not changed my preferences – my daily goal is still set at 25, but it still reads that really high number for my carb balance. I tried changing the daily carb goal, then changing it back, but the balance remains high.

    Any ideas?

  4. healthyu says:

Most likely, Jude, you have somehow turned on Total Carbs tracking rather than Net Carbs tracking. This is a simple change in the Profile button of the tab bar and your app will automatically update. Try that out and then let me know if this is still not rectifying your issue. Regards.

  5. Debbie says:

When I put in a new weight the icon badge on the MyDay home page does not update the total lost. I’ve also been unable to add previous weights for past dates. The calendar dates keep spinning back to today’s date and will not stay on previous months, days or years. Thanks for your help.

  6. healthyu says:

One reason the total weight loss may not be updating is if you have data entered for a future date. You could see this by viewing the graph while in the Track My Weight section and turing the app in landscape mode to see the plotted weigh in dates.

In the current version, Debbie, you are unable to record weight data for dates prior to the start date (set in the Profile section). If you need to record weight for dates prior to this time, you will have to roll back your start date as this indicates days prior to the time indicated in your app profile section.

However, this is changing in 3.0 being released in the coming weeks. There will be a lock/unlock key on the weight screen. You will be able to record/delete any date by simply locking in your weight or unlocking/deleting the weight recording. Pretty neat option…and the weight graph is updates as well. Hope that helps Debbie.

  7. Jude says:

How do I report inaccuracies in the database?

Ps: I don’t know what causes the issue with the carb count on the icon badge. As I mentioned I did not change my prefs from net carbs – I checked. It seems correct now but, for a brief time after I sync it goes back to giving me a high count again, even though the pref is set to count net carbs.

    Thanks

  8. healthyu says:

Jude, the database is very large and inaccuracies are bound to occur. We welcome any feedback with an email to us here. Just to let you know- we have been in the process over the past 3 months working daily to get a new database put together. The purpose of this was to provide a more accurate and simplified database. It will be released in the coming weeks as a free update to all of our Healthy U apps. I think this will take care of the issues that you are having.

As for the carb count issues, if this should be a problem for you in the future just let us know. If it is working fine now for you, it was likely a settings issue rather than a software bug.

Thanks for your questions/comments and we appreciate your support Jude. Please come again!

I am trying to find groceries, and doing something wrong. I put in eggs and it says it is not in the database, samething with chicken. What am I doing wrong?

  10. healthyu says:

Chelsea, a few people have reported not being able to view the grocery database properly. What we have found is that this issue resides with either your device (iPhone or iPod Touch) or with your software in your device. Here is the recommendation that we have that typically takes care of the situation. If you are a new user and do not have a lot saved, this will be simple to do: 1) delete the app from both your device and iTunes on your computer (to delete from your device, simply press and hold the icon and a wiggly X will appear- press it and delete), 2) restart your device by powering down and back up, 3) download Carb Tracker Pro again on your device. You will not be charged a second time for the app as Apple records your login information as an owner of the app.

Couple of other things to note: 1) our database is being revamped and will be released in 3.1 (couple of weeks), 2) make sure spelling is correct when searching the database, 3) our database has most items- if you find that there is an item that you want added, simply submit the food request form on our website in the contact area and we will get it added.

Please let us know if this helps rectify your problem. You should be good!

  11. chelseab says:

So I followed your instructions and deleted the application, but am unable to reinstall it because now it is not available for download any longer from the App Store.

  12. Wendy says:

I love this app and accidentally deleted it and now can’t find it on the Itunes store. Mine phone doesn’t have the latest update but didn’t when I installed it just days ago. What do I do next???

  13. Jude says:

The incorrect carb counts is still showing up – even more so now since the upgrade. I mean – I like the program and all but you don’t seem to believe that this is happening. I took 3 photos this evening – one of the icon badge on the home page showing a balance of 84 carbs, one of my prefs screen clearly showing that I’m counting NET carbs and that my limit is 25 per day ad one of the My Day screen, also showing a balance of 83 carbs. Here’s the link to the photos:

Please let me know if you have any ideas for a fix.

    Thanks

  14. healthyu says:

It is in the store now. Took it down for a few hours for maintenance. Thanks for your support.

  15. healthyu says:

We are releasing detailed information about this issue later today. However, with the recent update- there are some strange and unique things that have occurred, none of which were present during testing. We are working closely with Apple to get these issue rectified. Many of you are reporting problems with wiping out your data and/or not being able to save custom foods. Both of these issues cannot be replicated through our testing module, so there is certainly an issue with the download copy from iTunes.

Please note: we are working day and night until this gets fixed and we will post a notification on the status of this by days end. Thank you all for your continued support and patience!

  16. Paula Postlewait says:

I have previously used carb tracker and sue to the update it wasn’t working at all. I downloaded it again ( and was charged for it) an now the new one won’t let me save new foods. Any idea why?

  17. healthyu says:

The previous version had several bugs that were fixed. This new version has the bug fixes, along with several new features (like weight tracking by locking/unlocking the padlock). However, the fix that we thought was complete (create new food) somehow still has an error to it. Our programmer has rectified this last night and we are pushing the fix to Apple. You will get this fix in the form of an update as soon as they make it available (7-10 days).

  18. Nana says:

I finally got the upgraded app to open. Now I can’t it to save my weight loss. I have checked every option and it will not keep updated weight.

  19. healthyu says:

To save your weight, we have added a new feature. All you have to do is touch the padlock to lock-in and record your weight. Conversely, if you click a locked pad lock and unlock it, the weight recording is erased/deleted. Thanks for the question Nana.
