Editing the user database is only allowed in the form of delete. We are working on a change for this, but since it is so simple to start the food item over, we set it up this way to start. There is a video tutorial showing how to manage the Favorite in the button located in the menu bar and the bottom. Simply swipe over the food item and press delete. Thanks for the question Mike.
Hi – love this app! Only thing I am trying to find, is if I accidentally enter the wrong food from a meal, how can I delete that food entry? For now, all I have managed to do is go back into the entry and change it to 0 portions, which takes away those counts. Any ideas? Thanks very much!
Thanks so much. It is only going to get better. We are working on a lot of things right now, so stay tuned. If you accidently enter a food, just swipe on top of it and a delete button will pop up. Thats it!
Oh my gosh – that is so freaking easy! I love it even more now! LOL
OK – now here’s another one for you. I am becoming a very HEAVY USER of this app – I use it all day, constantly. I can’t say enough good things about it 9I will write a review soon), however I have another question… when entering a custom food, sometimes there might me “1.5″ grams of fat, yet your numeric keypad does not allow for a decimal? How do I accomplish this? Thanks!
Thank you for the complement and we would appreciate your gracious review in the App Store…that is how we are able to continue to support the app! As for the decimal, that is going to be coming out in a future version…we are on it!
So far I have found the updates quite confusing. I no longer have a place to enter snack. I lost some of the things from my favorites, and some things I have looked up are inaccurate. Help!
Yes, this is not the first time hearing of this since the new update came out on yesterday. Our programmer is putting the snack back in and will submit it back to Apple this week. As for the inaccuracy, this is bound to happen from time to time. Our database was just upgrade to around 100,000 items. If you find individual items that need editing, please submit the request on the website under the Contact_Submit A New Food location. We will take care of any and all food requests immediately. In the meantime, if a food item is not posted correctly (and it should be very few if any), just make a custom food item and set it up with the nutritional values that you need and it will work for you.
Thanks for the feedback!
How do I delete a weight entered in error. I was inputting my history for Carb tracker pro and forgot to change the year back to 2009 for one of the entries from November 2009.
To edit your weight, go the date in question (either by using the forward or backward arrows, or by going to the date button scroll wheel). When you select the date, simply enter in the edited weight information and the app will save this new value.
I know how to edit the weight for a given day, the problem is I eneterd a date in the future, ie 12/1/2010. Since there is no way to port in data from the old app I had to reenter it and one time I did not move the year scroll back to 2010. This is messing up my weight graph substantially.
I understand the issue and we are looking into a solution for this now.
How do I edit a favorite, i.e., the serving size, calories, etc.
All I see in the edit menu is an opportunity to delete.
What don’t I understand?
