Version upgrade notice (v1.02)

On August 18, 2009 version 1.02 was submitted to Apple for review.  After 10-14 days, this update version should be available for download on your iPhone or iPod Touch.  This new update has several fixes to the interface as well as changes to the database (Atkins items updates, several fixes based on user feedback).

In this version, we also fixed the upgrade installation issue so that you can upgrade directly on top of your previous version…no longer will you have to delete your existing version.  However, when you upgrade to version 1.02, you will likely lose your custom information installed in the application.  We have a fix for this coming out in version 1.03 of Carb Tracker, but it will only fix this issue going forward.  Sorry everyone, but it is not something we could envision from the start.  We are always working hard to make Carb Tracker better and appreciate your understanding.  In version 1.03 and beyond, this will not be an issue.

My weight updates within the weight tracker portion but it doesn’t coincide with the weight loss on the “My Day” screen. like when I enter my weight for this week it states a total of 4 lbs loss but on the “My Day” screen it still says 2 pounds which was my total from last week.

    Any suggestions?

Since the program is coded to coincide, I am not sure what you are seeing is correct. Perhaps did you log in any weight gain by accident? I ask only because I have tried to replicate this several times unsuccessfully. Here is what I would recommend… take a screen shot of what you are seeing and send upload it for me to review.

*To take a screen shot: simply press the power button and the home button on your device, and a white flash will occur when you let go. This takes the screen shot and places it in the camera roll. Then you can email it or upload it here. I will take a look at it and let you know if I see something.

“you will lose your custom information”
Does this include created meals added to your Favorites?

Unfortunately, yes. So this upgrade is optional. However, in this upgrade is the fix for this so it won’t happen ever again with future upgrades.
